Fr Patrick Henderson
As part of our partnership with Holy Trinity, Stroud Green, Fr Patrick acts as Assistant Priest at St Paul’s. Fr Patrick has spent most of his ministry in the areas of Crouch End and Hornsey. After a brief period working in the City, he trained for ordained ministry at St Stephen’s House, Oxford. He was ordained in 1986 and served his curacy at Hornsey Parish Church. He returned to Hornsey in 2002 being made Curate of Holy Innocents, Hornsey and Chaplain at the Greig City Academy. He was inducted as Vicar at Holy Trinity in 2007.
Dr Margaret Joojo-Richards
Margaret first started coming to St Paul’s about seventeen years ago, after her first daughter was born. She wanted to see if it would be a good place for a baptism. Originally from Yorkshire, Margaret has lived in London for about 26 years, mostly in this parish. She works as a manager in adult and community education.
Terry has lived in the parish for most of his life and has been involved with St Paul’s since he was a child. He brings experience and deep local knowledge about Harringay to his role as Churchwarden. Along with his wife and family, Terry is committed to St Paul’s being a place where people of different generations form community and friendship with one another.
Bethany Burrow Atherton
Director of Music, Secretary, Safeguarding Officer
At a Sunday morning service you may not see Bethany, but you most likely will hear her. Perched in the organ loft, Bethany leads the music at St Paul’s.
Parish Safeguarding Officer
Christine has been coming to St Paul’s, Harringay for many years and previously served as a churchwarden. Christine took over as Parish Safeguarding Officer in 2017.
Junior Church Coordinator, Children’s Champion
Verona helps lead Junior Church, St Paul’s children’s ministry on Sunday mornings and at special children’s activities. If you have questions about children’s work at St Paul’s, feel free to speak to Verona. She can usually be found having a friendly chat during after service refreshments!
Junior Church Coordinator
Ruth helps lead Junior Church, St Paul’s children’s ministry on Sunday mornings and at special children’s activities. A long time member of St Paul’s and an expert on where everything is in the church hall, she brings invaluable experience to children’s ministry. Feel free to speak with Ruth over tea or coffee after our Sunday morning service if you have any questions about Junior Church.
Millie is the Pastoral Assistant for St Paul’s, Harringay and Holy Trinity, Stroud Green. Before coming to Harringay, Millie spent a year working on the ‘Year 4 God’ Scheme at the Shrine of our Lady of Walsingham (Norfolk), working with young pilgrims. She is originally from Halifax in West Yorkshire. Millie is a trained chef and accomplished musician.
